about

Noise created with organic and synthetic recordings and samples.
Special thanks to Skintape.net for some samples.

"Crux Fidelis" is part of a larger work by Saint Venantius Honorius Clementianus Fortunatus (c530-c609) beginning Pange lingua ('Sing, my tongue'). He wrote it for a procession that brought a part of the true Cross to Queen Radegunda in 570. This hymn is used on Good Friday during the Adoration of the Cross and in the Liturgy of the Hours during Holy Week and on feasts of the Cross. This chant is performed by Maîtrise de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris / Michel Marc Gervais.

"Hec Dies, quam fecit Dominus" is a Medieval Old Roman chant.
It is used for Easter Sunday vespers. This chant is performed by Ensemble Organum, Director: Marcel Peres.

"Psalm 91: Qui habitat in adiutorio Altissimi", an Ancient Roman chant, is performed by CIRMA/ Ensemble Organum lead by Mr. Marcel Pérès.
